Oxford JV Volleyball Looks Strong during Quad Meet

Oxford JV Volleyball hosted Flushing, North Branch and Clarkston in a quad match up on Wed. September 5th.

Tough competition providing exciting matches.

Oxford split with Flushing 25-23, 17-25; defeated North Branch in 2 sets (25-20, 25-15) and split with our league rival Clarkston (24-26, 25-13).

 

Service leaders were Ava Wiscombe (25 of 27 w/3 aces), Bayley Proctor (20 of 22 w/2) and Rachel Smiley (20 of 21 w/2).

Our defensive standouts were Wiscombe, Proctor, Smiley and Meghan Lupu - all of which passed with 95% accuracy.

The offensive attack was led by Alex Jarrett who connected on 22 of 28 attempts, racking up 4 aces and Mia Cejka with 20 of 25 and 5 aces. 

 

The JV volleyball team will play in the Chippewa Valley tournament this coming Sunday, and then travel to league rival Lake Orion on Thursday, Sept 13th.
