Oxford used a big third quarter to pull away from Ferndale 75-65 in league action on Tuesday night. The Wildcats led by as many as 18 points in the second half. Trey Townsend had a big game, scoring a career-high 25 points to go along with 18 rebounds. Michael Raisch and Logan Coughlin each added 15 points of their own.
"That 3rd quarter was the difference. We hit some big shots and really got some critical stops when we needed them," head coach Steve Laidlaw said.
With the win, Oxford improved to 8-0 and 4-0 in the OAA Blue.
