The Wildcat bowling team hosted the Avondale bowlers at Collier Lanes Friday night. The Avondale team is in it's 2nd year and has made some nice advancements but were no match for Oxford.
The Girls won 30 to 0 with a solid performance. Claire Sandstrom 220, Megan Armbruster 240 and Grace Meyer 195 lead the way for the Lady Wildcats. The Win moves the girls record in the OAA Red division to 5 and 0 and overall to 5 and 1.
The Boys won 29 to 1 with a strong effort from many bowlers. Leading the way was Tony Verbeke's 276 game. Tony was supported by Luke Acton's 247, Collin Massie 217, 243 and Austin Couch and Garrett Hill combined on 2 nice scores of 268 and 239. Game 1 of the match the Boys from Oxford shot an 1163 game which is the 5th highest in the state this year.
The win locked up the OAA Red division for the Wildcats Boys. It's the sixth straight year the Boys have won the division. The Wildcats record is 5 and 0 in division and 7 and 1 overall.
