The Wildcats traveled to Rochester Adams for the Highlander's Breast Cancer Awareness game, beating out Adams 63-40. Adams raised $1000 for Elemental, a company that supports breast cancer survivors, and awarded Elemental with a check before game festivities began.
Oxford, outfitted in pink uniforms, trailed to begin the first quarter. Adams came out hot, hitting a quick three pointer to start the game. Oxford would answer with a quick layup, setting the tone for the first half. At the end of the first quarter, the score was even at 14. This didn't last for long, the Wildcats would go on a 9-0 run to start the second quarter to extend their lead 23-14. Oxford showed grit on defense, denying Adams on drives and contesting outside shots.
The Highlanders opened up scoring again in the second half with another three pointer. Only to be stifled by another Wildcat run. Oxford would continue to increase their lead into the fourth quarter, firing on all cylinders. The Wildcats saw good drives, good outside looks, and moved the ball well through Adams defense. The biggest lead of the night would peak at 23 points.
Cato dropped 24 points and pulled down 5 rebounds. Hershman chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Methner would also chip in 10 points. Dymond and Morris would add 6 points each.
