The Wildcats wrapped up a great season with a win at Romeo by a score of 17-6 to bring their final record to 26 wins and 3 losses. Garett Hiler got the start and threw 3 innings on No Hit baseball, striking out 4 batters. Nolan Kutchey came on to finish the game and with 5 errors behind him was able to give up a single earned run while being efficient with his pitches and striking out a couple of Bulldogs. Ethan Burdua and Brock Heilig played very well defensively to help the cause.
Offensively Oxford put on a bit of a show with 17 hits leading to 17 runs with the 3rd inning, where the team pushed across 7 runs, being the catalyst for the big win. Leaders were Tommy Smalley (1-2, RBI, 2 runs scored), Kutchey (1-1, walk, 2 runs scored), Hiler (3-5, double, RBI, 2 runs scored), Sean Cooper (2-2, on base 3 times, RBI), Brennan Mielnicki (1-3, 2 runs scored), Tanner Stokes (2-3, double, 2 RBI, run scored), Gabe Debo (1-2, RBI, 2 runs scored), Joe Roeher (1-2, 1 run scored) and Ethan Burdua (2-3, 2 walks, stolen base, 3 RBI, run scored).
