Boys' Basketball Wins District Semi-Final

CLARKSTON, Mich.- The Oxford High School Wildcat Basketball team used a hot display of shooting to knock off Holly 55-25 in the District Semi-Final.

Nolan Harding connected on a career-high 7 three-pointers, and finished with 21 points. Jimmy Claudio chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. Trey Townsend added 8 points to go along with 12 rebounds.

The Wildcats made 11 three-pointers as a team.

"Our shooting early in the game really set the tempo. We started hot and never let up," head coach Steve Laidlaw said. With the win, Oxford has now won 3 out of its last 4 games.

The Wildcats now move on to face Clarkston, who is the #1 ranked team in the state, in the District Final.
